The San Miguel Advisory Council (SMAC) meets at 7:00 pm typically on the fourth Wednesday of each month (See list below) in the San Miguel Community Center across from the community park. SMART is always represented at each of these meetings. For agenda information or other SMAC questions, you may contact SMAC Chairman, Denis Degher at dd@sleepyguitar.com. Thanks to our efforts, the proposed "San Miguel Ranch" development project is now discussed openly and often at the SMAC meetings, our local shops, and around town.

We will update this page when other agencies hold public hearings on the proposed Grizzle Land and Development Corporation "San Miguel Ranch" project. We anticipate the next major meeting to be a County-sponsored community meeting for the project Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) early December of 2008. SMART will do everything possible to get the word out to San Miguel area residents when a specific date is set.
